Test Kitchen Tip
For a little panache, if desired, drizzle bars
with white chocolate.
Instructions
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with foil.
Heat candy corn and peanut butter in
a saucepan over medium until candy
corn melts and mixture is smooth,
5 minutes, whisking often.
Stir in corn flakes; spoon mixture into
prepared pan, pressing into corners
and smoothing top. Cover candy corn
mixture with plastic wrap; chill at least
1 hour. Turn out candy corn mixture
onto a cutting board; remove foil and
cut into 16 bars.
Microwave chocolate in a microwave-safe
bowl on high power for 30 seconds,
stir, and repeat 3 times, stirring between
each until chocolate is almost melted;
stir until smooth.
Dip bars into chocolate, one at time,
covering all sides; lift bars out with a fork
allowing excess to drip back into bowl.
Place bars on a parchment-lined baking
sheet until set.
