Tip to Transfer Roasted Chicken From Pan to Cutting Board or Serving Platter

Fresh from the pan, a whole chicken can be awkward (if not impossible) to handle. Here's a painless way to transport it.

To remove a whole chicken from the roasting pan without burning your fingers, skewer it. Insert a long metal skewer through the cavity and use it to easily lift the chicken out and onto a cutting board or serving dish.
