The Mess-Free Way to Pour Liquids into Resealable Bags

Need an extra hand to pour stocks, sauces, soups and other liquids into bags to freeze? Use this tip for mess-free pouring to help!

Tips-Mess-Free-Way-to-Pour-Liquids

Use resealable bags to freeze liquids (like stocks and sauces)—they’re cheap and stack well in the freezer. But because they’re so flimsy, you'll likely need an extra hand (not always readily available) to hold the bags while you fill them up. Put the bag in a pitcher and fold the open end over the lip. Your hands will be free to pour the liquids into the bag.
