Here's a simple tip to ensure even distribution of flavored liquids like coffee or liqueurs when making desserts like tiramisu or charlottes.
Instead of using a pastry brush to apply liquid, such as coffee, on cakes for desserts, try using a spray bottle. It coats the cake more uniformly in about a quarter of the time, and you’re less likely to tear it.
