Liquid Reduction For Slow Cookers

You'd be surprised how many recipes can be made in a slow cooker. Here's one crucial thing to note before getting started.

The most important thing to remember when adapting recipes for the slow cooker is that liquids don't evaporate like they do on the stove or in the oven. To ensure the dinner cooks correctly and doesn't get soggy, decrease the amount of liquids you add. Usually only ½ to 1 cup of liquid does the trick.

 

    And, for extra flavorful results, try using liquid like broth, wine, or juice, instead of just plain water.
