How to Toast Tortillas
Toasting your tortillas brings out the corn or flour flavor and helps soften the tortillas for filling. Here's how to do it over a gas stovetop.
To toast flour or corn tortillas, use the burner on your gas stove. Hold the tortilla over the flame with tongs, flipping to toast both sides. Keep it moving or it will burn! The tortilla will get a little toasted but will still be pliable.
