How to Make Individual Servings Using a Muffin Tin

If you like to make individual servings of side dishes and desserts, there's an easier way than using multiple ramekins. Here's how you can use a common bakeware item to make individual servings of just about anything.

If you like to make individual side dishes, quiches, and desserts, but don’t enjoy unmolding each ramekin separately or dealing with little dishes scooting around the baking pan, try this. Both problems are solved when I use a muffin tin for the mold. Spray tin with nonstick spray. When ready to unmold, lay a baking sheet over top and invert. You can vary the muffin tin size (from jumbo to regular to mini) depending on how big you want the servings to be.
