How to Freeze Cookie Dough

Most raw cookie doughs store well in the freezer. Here’s the quickest and easiest method:

Use a cookie scoop to portion balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about an hour, or until the dough balls are frozen. Then place the frozen balls into a resealable plastic freezer bag.

When you want fresh-baked cookies, all you have to do is bake the frozen dough balls at the usual temperature, adding a few minutes to the baking time.
