Storing Fresh Ginger
Make use of gingerroot with this quick tip that allows you to have fresh grated ginger on hand at all times!
The next time you buy gingerroot, try this tip. Peel off the skin, grate the entire root, then divide it into tablespoon measurements. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a resealable plastic freezer bag for storage. Add frozen portions to soups, or thaw and use in stir-fries.
