How to Freeze Fresh Herbs

Ensure flavorful fresh herbs all year long, and don't let any go to waste, with this tip for storing them for quick use.

How to Freeze Fresh Herbs

Fresh herbs add delicious flavor to soups and stocks. Whether you want to preserve the rest of a package that would otherwise go to waste, or when you have an abundance of herbs in warmer months, tie bundles of herbs like rosemary, thyme, parsley, and bay leaves and freeze them with water in small plastic cups. Easily store them in resealable plastic bags in the freezer, then just pop an herb ice cube into your soup or stock pot when needed.
