An easy way to find hot spots on your grill is as simple as sliced bread. Preheat your grill to medium-high, lay bread on the grates, and toast them 90 seconds. Then, flip them in the order they were placed on the grate. The dark areas on the slices are where the hot spots are and the light areas are where the cooler spots are.
