How to Tell if Eggs Are Fresh
Hesitant to serve the eggs that have been in your refrigerator for who knows how long? Give them this quick test.
To determine if an egg is fresh, place it in a clear glass of cold water. If it lies flat on the bottom, it’s fresh. If it stays at the bottom but is more vertical, it’s OK. If it floats to the top, throw it out — it’s past its prime.
