Soaking skewers before grilling can be time-consuming. Presoak a bunch of skewers, then place them in a resealable plastic bag to freeze. When you're ready to grill, the skewers can be removed from the bag and used, no thawing necessary. To prevent larger items from 'spinning' on the skewer, use two for each kebab, spacing them about 1-inch apart, and slide the food onto both.
