Mustard Egg Noodles
Pump up the flavor of plain green beans with an intense buttery mustard sauce. Then bulk up the dish by tossing in egg noodles for a side that’s just as hearty as it is tasty.
Frozen green beans work in this dish as well as fresh. And you can use whatever type of prepared mustard you prefer or have on hand.
Cook noodles in a pot of boiling salted water according to package directions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, stir in green beans; drain.
Melt butter in same pot over medium heat. Stir in mustard, noodles, green beans, and parsley. Season noodles with salt and pepper.
