Grilled mangoes and bell peppers bring a little sweet and heat as a side dish to a meal. Mangoes originated in India, where the tree is considered sacred. Research has shown antioxidant compounds in mangoes have been found to protect against colon, breast, leukemia, and prostate cancers.

Preheat grill to medium-high.

Brush grill grate with oil. Toss mangoes and peppers with reserved marinade from Cubano Chicken. Remove mangoes and peppers from marinade, reserving marinade; grill, covered, 2 minutes.

Flip mangoes and peppers and grill 1 minute more; transfer to a cutting board. When cool enough to handle, slice mangoes and peppers into strips; toss with marinade until coated.
