There’s nothing tricky or complicated about this dish. It’s just a great steak and dynamite salad coming together, each one enhancing the other.

The name of this recipe refers to the way the steak is sliced and not to a cut of meat.


Preheat grill to medium-high.

Season steaks with salt and pepper, and drizzle with oil. Grill, covered, to desired doneness, 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let steak rest 5 minutes before slicing into strips and fanning into a crescent shape on serving plates with Panzanella.
