Red Velvet Cookies
Red velvet is everywhere these days. And it should be! The classic flavor isn’t just for layer cakes and cupcakes — try it in cookies.
For consistent-sized cookies, use a #30 scoop, the equivalent of two tablespoons.
Preheat oven to 375°. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Cream butter and sugar in a separate bowl with a mixer on medium speed until fluffy, 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, food color, and vinegar. Mix flour mixture into creamed mixture just to combine.
Stir in white chocolate. Scoop dough with #30 scoop (about 2 Tbsp.) onto prepared baking sheets. Bake cookies until edges are set, 12–14 minutes. Let cookies cool on baking sheet, 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
