Appetizers / Snacks
Spinach-Artichoke Fondue is everything you love about the dip, but fancied up to impress your guests.
Bring your small gathering together this season by feasting on an array of fondues. Not only are fondues quick to prepare, but one pot can easily be an appetizer for a crowd or a meal for a few. While friends and family gather around to dip, converse, and celebrate, you're there with them.
Good To Know
Like artichoke hearts, artichoke bottoms come in a can, but they hold their shape and won’t fall apart or disintegrate into the fondue.
Toss together fontina, Asiago, and cornstarch.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add spinach, garlic, pepper flakes, anchovy paste, and nutmeg; cook until garlic softens, about 1 minute.
Add wine and broth; bring to a simmer. Whisk in cheese mixture a handful at a time, letting each addition fully melt before adding the next. Whisk in cream cheese until it melts. Stir in artichokes and lemon juice. Season fondue with salt and black pepper, and transfer to a warm fondue pot.
