Crisp Cheesy Bread Sticks

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking sheet with oil, butter, or line with parchment.

Roll dough out to a ⅛-inch-thick rectangle, about 8×13 inches. As you roll dough, use just enough flour to prevent it from sticking to work surface. Cut dough along long side into ⅛-inch-wide strips, using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.

Lay dough strips on prepared baking sheet, spacing them about ½ inch apart. Using a pastry brush, dab olive oil over each strip and sprinkle with salt.

Bake bread sticks in center of oven until nicely browned and beginning to crisp, 1016 minutes. The bread sticks will firm up when cool.
