Spicy Broccolini Orzo

Just take a trip down to your local farmer’s market for the freshest ingredients. In the Spicy Broccolini Orzo side dish, garlic and pepper flakes add loads of flavor.

Can’t find broccolini? Broccoli florets work just fine.

Instructions

Cook orzo in a pot of boiling salted water according to package directions, adding broccolini in the last 3 minutes of cooking; drain in a fine-mesh sieve, plunge sieve into an ice water bath, then drain again.

Sweat garlic and pepper flakes in oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat until edges of garlic just begin to get golden, 3 minutes; transfer to a bowl. Stir vinegar into garlic mixture then toss with orzo and broccolini; season with salt.
