Sautéed Kielbasa & Apples

A quick and easy side dish of sausage and apples cuts the richness and adds a little more heft to our Mac 'n Cheese with Crumb Topping.

Brown kielbasa in oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, about 5 minutes. Transfer kielbasa to a plate and keep warm; return skillet to burner.

Sauté apples in butter in the same skillet until softened, 23 minutes. Add sugar, lemon juice, and salt; cook just until sugar dissolves, 12 minutes. Return kielbasa to skillet and toss to combine.
