Salt & Pepper Fries with Onion & Jalapeno

Your hot dogs and hamburgers need a side to be a meal. Waffle fries with onions and jalapeños are just right. Season the fries generously with salt and pepper halfway through baking so they really adhere for the most flavor.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425° with a baking sheet on center rack.

Bake fries on preheated baking sheet according to package directions; season with salt and black pepper halfway through baking. Return fries to oven to finish baking.

Sauté onion, garlic, and jalapeño in oil in a skillet over high heat until onion is crisp-tender; season with sugar, salt, and black pepper. Top fries with onion mixture and serve with lime wedges.
