Preheat oven to 425°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Toss carrots with oil; season with salt and pepper. Roast carrots on prepared baking sheet until fork-tender, 25 minutes.

Combine butter, scallions, and lemon juice in a bowl, add carrots and toss to coat. Top servings with almonds.
