Instructions

Cook spaetzle in a pot of boiling salted water according to package directions.

Add asparagus in the final 3 minutes of boiling the spaetzle; drain, then transfer spaetzle and asparagus to a bowl.

Stir in Gruyère, lemon juice, and mustard; season with salt and pepper.
