Mascarpone Mashed Potatoes
For the creamiest mashed potatoes, adding mascarpone cheese can’t be beat. It not only adds richness, but a flavorful tang, too. And you can be certain when you serve these spuds at your next gathering, they'll be the first thing to go.

To avoid gluey mashed potatoes, beat potatoes just until they’re creamy.
Boil potatoes and garlic in a saucepan of salted water until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain mixture and return to saucepan to dry over medium heat, about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Beat potatoes with mascarpone and butter using a hand mixer on low speed until smooth, 1–2 minutes. Season potatoes with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
