Grilled Green Beans

Foil pouches are a great way to get perfectly steamed, crisp-tender vegetables. This quick and easy side dish grills right alongside the rest of the meal.

Preheat grill to medium-high. Brush grill grate with oil.

Toss green beans, shallots, and garlic in oil; season with salt and pepper.

Pour green bean mixture onto center of a sheet of aluminum foil. Fold up edges of foil to make a pouch; seal shut.

Grill beans 6 minutes, flip pouch, and continue grilling until beans are crisp-tender, about 6 minutes more. Remove beans from grill and pouch, toss with lemon juice, and garnish with zest.
