Charred Corn & Black Bean Salad with Red Bell Pepper and Avocado

If you don’t have a grill to char the corn and bell pepper, char them over the flame of a gas stove, or under a broiler set to high.
Combine corn, beans, bell pepper, and scallions in a bowl.
Whisk together oil, honey, zest, and lime juice; season with salt, then toss with bean mixture. Stir avocado into salad just before serving.
