Hot Brown Dip
This Hot Brown dip is a nod to the delicious Hot Brown sandwich, which was created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky and has become a local favorite. It consists of sliced turkey topped with Mornay sauce and Parmesan, then gets broiled until hot and bubbly.
With or without bourbon, this dip is outrageously good. Rich and cheesy, whether served as a side or an app, it will be gone in minutes.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour; cook to remove raw taste, 2 minutes.
Whisk in milk, broth, and bourbon; bring to a simmer and cook until thick, 2–3 minutes. Whisk in Cheddar and Parmesan, until melted and smooth. Stir in paprika; season dip with salt and pepper. Stir in turkey.
Top dip with tomato, bacon, and parsley; serve with chips.
