Cranberry BBQ Sauce
Serve up a tangy-sweet cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving dinner, but do so in an unexpected way — as a barbecue sauce mopped over the turkey and served on the side.
Test Kitchen Tip
This sauce can be prepared, covered, and refrigerated up to 1 week, or frozen up to 1 month.
Sweat onion and garlic in oil in a saucepan over medium heat until softened, 5 minutes.
Stir in cranberries, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, mustard, chipotles, and Worcestershire. Bring sauce to a boil, stirring frequently, until cranberries burst, 10 minutes. Purée half the sauce in a food processor until smooth; stir back into remaining sauce.
