Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high. Add sausage and minced vegetables; cook until sausage browns, 5 minutes.

Stir in tomatoes, broth, Italian seasoning, and spaghetti (make sure spaghetti is submerged in broth); bring to a boil. Cover pot, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook ragu until pasta is al dente and sauce thickens, 810 minutes. Season ragu with salt and pepper; stir in basil.
