White Peach Margarita with Barefoot Peach & Nectarine Hard Seltzer

What started with everyone drinking posh sparkling waters has manifested into “hard seltzer” or soda water mixed with neutral-flavored alcohol, plus flavoring. Hard seltzer is sparkling water, aka club soda, instilled with attitude; generally between 4.5% and 7% ABV. Citrus, berry flavored, and tropical fruit seltzers are just the right vehicles for creating summer cocktails with fresh fruit garnishes, like this White Peach Margarita with Barefoot Peach & Nectarine Hard Seltzer.

Ingredients

White-Peach-Margarita-Tip

We used Barefoot Peach & Nectarine Hard Seltzer for our White Peach Margarita. Smirnoff makes a white peach rosé seltzer that also works in this recipe.

Coat the rims of the glasses with coarse sugar, if desired.

Be mindful: While these cocktails are mixed with what seems like flavored club soda — given their “attitude,” one cocktail is more like having a beer and a shot.

Instructions

Combine seltzer, tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup in a pitcher filled with ice until chilled; strain into margarita glasses.
