Instructions

Purée watermelon and blackberries in a food processor; strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard solids.

Combine extracted juices, rum, agave, lime juice, mint, and salt in an 8×8-inch baking dish; freeze until solid, 6–8 hours, or overnight.

Scrape granita with a fork and scoop into serving dishes.
