Cantaloupe Agua Fresca with Fresh Basil
This non-alcoholic fruit drink is perfect for sipping on a summer afternoon. Savor the sweet flavor of ripe cantaloupe in this refreshing agua fresca. Not a fan of having pieces of basil in your drink? Strain the agua fresca before serving.
Purée cantaloupe and 1 cup water in a blender; strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard solids.
Muddle basil and sugar together until fragrant. Whisk in remaining 1 cup water, lime juice, and salt, then stir in cantaloupe juice. Chill agua fresca until ready to serve.
