How to Clean a Blender or Food Processor
Blenders and food processors can be difficult (and dangerous!) to clean by hand because of the sharp blender and the narrow shape of the blender. Here's an easy—and safe—way to clean these electric appliances.
To clean a dirty blender or food processor, fill the bowl half full with hot water and a little liquid dish soap. Put the lid on and run at top speed—bowl, blades, and lid come clean! Just rinse everything out and let dry
