How to Freeze Fresh Lemon Juice & Slices to Reduce Waste

When you need freshly squeezed lemon juice, juice more than you need, then save the remainder by freezing it in ice cube trays. This way, it’s ready whenever you need a tablespoon or two of it — or when you want lemon ice for iced tea.

To add a little zing to your drinks, use frozen lemon slices. Lemons (and limes) freeze in perfect condition. Not only do they add flavor, they keep beverages cooler too! Keep slices of each in the freezer for beverages — water, iced tea, beer, or soda.
