When selecting asparagus, choose stalks with tightly closed dry tips that are firm to the touch and bright green in color.


Preheat oven to 425°.

Toss asparagus with oil, salt, and pepper; place on a baking sheet and roast 7 minutes.

Sprinkle asparagus with Parmesan and lemon juice before serving.
