Brush this sweet sauce on heart-healthy fish and poultry in the last minutes of grilling, then serve any remaining sauce for dipping.

Instructions

Sweat shallots in oil in a saucepan over medium heat until softened, 2–3 minutes.

Whisk in tomato sauce, jam, balsamic and red wine vinegars, Dijon, and Worcestershire. Simmer sauce 10 minutes, then season with salt, black pepper, and pepper flakes.
