Hot Wing Wraps with Blue Cheese Sauce

When you want Buffalo wings, but you don’t want to deal with the mess or the bones, these are the wraps for you. This buffalo chicken wrap recipe has all the elements of Buffalo wings, but rearranges them for a whole new look. Don’t worry, the things that make buffalo wings so popular are here too — the spicy sauce, blue cheese dip, and celery.

Instructions

For the blue cheese sauce, stir together mayonnaise, milk, Worcestershire, and lemon juice. Fold in blue cheese and parsley, then season with salt and cayenne.

For the wrap, combine hot sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl.

Toss chicken, Cajun seasoning, and ½ tsp. salt together, then sauté chicken in oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat until it begins to brown, 3 minutes. Add hot sauce mixture and simmer until sauce reduces and thickens, about 5 minutes.

Assemble wraps with ¼ cup chicken in each lettuce leaf. Top wraps with cucumber, celery, and carrot, then drizzle with blue cheese sauce.

So the chicken doesn’t dry out, don’t cook it all the way through before adding the hot sauce.
