Preheat oven to 400°. Coat a 7x11-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Combine chicken, 1½ cups Cheddar, celery, onions, bell peppers, and ½ cup almonds in a bowl.

Whisk together mayonnaise, garlic, and cayenne; stir into chicken mixture, season with salt and pepper, and transfer to prepared baking dish.

Top casserole with Fritos, ¼ cup almonds, and ¼ cup Cheddar.

Bake casserole until bubbling around the edges, about 20 minutes; let rest 510 minutes before serving.
