Whisk together water and sugar in a sauté pan over medium-high heat; bring to a boil. Simmer mixture until syrupy, whisking frequently, 3 minutes.

Add almonds and pistachio s; stir until liquid evaporates and almonds are golden brown, 3 minutes; season with salt. Pour nut mixture onto a small sheet of foil or wax paper coated with nonstick spray. Break up any large clumps when cool enough to touch.
