Best Amazon Meal Prep Containers

Containers are a necessity when it comes to meal prepping. And with thousands of options of containers on Amazon, we narrowed down the search for you with a few of our favorites. Let's get started!

Prep Naturals Glass Meal Prep Containers

First these containers are made from eco-friendly borosilicate glass, which is also very durable. We also love being able to see inside the containers along with the smart locking lids. If you place the container into a bag, you don’t have to worry about the lids popping off and the food spilling out all over the place. These containers can be bought with different amounts of compartments and number of packs.

Rubbermaid Plastic Containers

You know how sometimes Tupperware tends to fly out at you when you open the cabinet door where they’re stored? Not these! We love that not only the lids snap together but then the lids even snap to the bases of the containers making for a beautifully organized cabinet space. Viola!

OXO Good Grips Leakproof On-The-Go Salad Container

This two-level container is awesome. With two levels, you can keep your wet ingredients separate from the dry ingredients, and everyone is happy! Or remove the separator and you can have one large container. This set also includes a leakproof dressing container. Bonus — when you are ready to eat, simply place everything into the container, snap the lid back on, and give the salad a shake. All you have to do now is remove the lid and enjoy your tossed salad.

SnapLock by Progressive Lunch Cube To-Go Container

We thought this was a great concept. How awesome is it that you can have a sandwich, chips and a side all snapped together, but in different compartments? We were sold. No more having to lug around multiple plastic bags or containers when you can store them all in one.

Enther Meal Prep Containers

With compartments to separate different foods, this bento box container is perfect for any type of meal. The container is freezer and microwaveable safe for temps of -40 to 250° Fahrenheit. And if portion control is an area you’re working to improve, this is a great option for you.

OXO Good Grips 9-Piece Nesting Bowl & Colander Set

(Photo courtsey of Amazon)

Here are just a few reasons why we love this set. First, the nesting capability for not only the bowls but the colanders too, is a huge win in our book. Secondly, the lids are nice and sturdy with a good seal. Lastly, the non-slip bottoms really help keep the bowls from moving around on the counter tops while mixing things up. Win-Win!

Pyrex Meal Prep Simply Store Glass Rectangular and Round Food Container Set

Pyrex is a great brand with a reliable product line. Just like all products you have good and bad reviews, but overall Pyrex does get good recommendations. We like the variety of shapes and sizes, and nesting capabilities. And easy to clean and store.

Food Saver

We know this isn’t exactly a storage container, but this machine is a miracle worker. We use the Food Saver a lot in the Test Kitchen for some of our more expensive food purchases (ie. Beef tenderloin or other pieces of meat) to help preserve them longer in the freezer than just popping them in as is. It also is a great for saving space in the freezer.
