Ricing Guacamole

Is guacamole on the menu for your fiesta? Here's a trick that provides the perfect texture ... plus a quick _bonus_ recipe!

For perfectly textured guacamole, use a potato ricer. Place large chunks of avocado into the ricer, press right into a bowl, and scrape the outside of the ricer with a spatula. Then stir in the remaining ingredients.

 

  • Per 1 avocado, add:
  • 2 Tbsp. minced red onion
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. granulated garlic
  • ¼ tsp. chili powder
  • Salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste
