1/2   cup olive oil
2   T. fresh lemon juice
1   T. balsamic vinegar
1   T. shallots, minced
1   t. sugar
1   t. Dijon mustard
1/2   t. garlic, minced
1/2   t. kosher salt
    

Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl. Use immediately or cover and chill in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
