Vic Firth started out as the timpanist (a type of drummer) for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He began manufacturing his own drumsticks over 40 years ago. He turned his drumstick-making expertise toward other woodturning ventures and today his rolling pins are considered some of the best.

American-style pins are crafted from solid rock maple and the 12″, 15″ and 18″ pins are fitted with stainless steel ball bearings to ensure a lifetime of effortless rolling. A marble pin and French tapered are also available.
